T’way Air named top transit carrier at Incheon Int'l Airport for 2nd straight year
T'way Air has been recognized as the "2025 Outstanding Transit Airline" at Incheon International Airport, making it the only Korea-based carrier to receive the transit passenger growth award for two consecutive years, the airline announced Friday. The Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) presented the award at a ceremony held alongside its 2026 airline incentive briefing, attended by 14 domestic and international carriers. T'way Air was recognized for strengthening transit sales across its route network and providing dedicated gate check-in and baggage connection services for transit passengers. According to IIAC data, the number of passengers transiting through Incheon International Airport on T'way Air flights rose approximately 69 percent year-on-year, from around 57,000 in 2024 to approximately 97,000 in 2025. The airline's transit ratio — the share of transit passengers among all passengers — climbed from 2.6 percent to 4.1 percent over the same period. Growth has continued into 2026.
