Nvidia to hold 'AI Day Seoul' to showcase core AI technologies

Nvidia Corp. will hold a special event in Seoul this month to showcase and introduce its latest artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to local developers, researchers and industry leaders, the U.S. tech giant said Thursday. The "Nvidia AI Day Seoul" will be held for two days from Nov. 17 at the COEX exhibition hall in southern Seoul. On Nov. 17, Nvidia's Deep Learning Institute (DLI) will host a one-day, hands-on workshop offering participants an opportunity to experience the company's latest AI technologies in a graphics processing unit (GPU)-accelerated cloud environment and earn an official Nvidia DLI certificate, the company said in a press release. The workshop will cover the optimization of large language models (LLMs) using Nvidia's NeMo platform for building customized generative AI, model parallelization, and the development and deployment of large-scale neural networks, according to Nvidia. On Nov. 18, industry experts will discuss key topics, such as sovereign AI, agentic AI, AI factories, industrial AI, robotics and Nvidia's CUDA-X open-source library. A Q&A session with
